I have struggled with metatarsal pain for years. I've tried just about every product out there, including metatarsal pads and many types of insoles. Finally I have found something that slips right into my shoes after removing the insoles that came with the shoes. I'm a size 7 or 7 1/2. I didn't have to do any trimming. But if you can get them for $19.95 at Walmart, why would you pay more, plus shipping, from Amazon?

These are now available at Wal-Mart for $19.97 for one pair. I bought Women's size 8 1/2 to 11. I will add more once I have tried them, but they promise to offer triple zone protection for the ball of the foot, arch and heel. These are definitely a good value as compared with Dr. Scholl's Custom Orthotics for $50. I was not impressed with those at all.

i put these in cheap boots with a very thin uncomfortable bottom (i did buy the boots in half a size larger) and now I can wear those boots all day long. Very comfortable. Love these insoles!

I recently discovered the active series insoles by Dr. Scholl's after using other type of insoles. These active insoles work marvelously in my running shoes. I love them so much, I bought them for my mom and my boyfriend as well.

They provide great arch support. My feet don't hurt during/after running and with the insoles, we can stand/walk for long periods of time without hurting our feet.
