These are shoes that you'll either love or hate. I love 'em. I just took them out for a trial run this morning and they felt awesome. So light and I loved the 4mm drop on them. I would advise leaving the insoles in them as another reviewer mentioned she could feel the treads through the soles. I also noticed this on one foot when I was walking around in them. When I started running, I didn't notice it.
My feet are on the wide side of a normal width, so I love all the room in the toe box. I could see them being a bit too loose for narrow or normal feet, but if your feet are wide, these are the widest minimalist shoes out there right now.

I use these shoes for crossfit and love them. They have a very wide toe box, which works well for me because I have a slightly wider than average foot. I am not a runner, so I can't speak to how these would hold up or feel for long runs, but they are great for doing 400m sprints and other short distance cross training. I do not take the insoles out.

I usually wear a 6, but in this shoe I would need to go up a half size. The shoe is bright and beautiful, and I really wanted to keep it! But alas, not only was it a little bit too small, but when I took out the insole, the shoe wasn't comfortable anymore. Plus when I ran in them, I could feel the grooves/spaces in the bottom cushioning/sole. I sent them back and am returning to my trusty ole merrells for now. Maybe when (/if) the PureDrift 2 comes out, they'll reconfigure the sole and I'll give them another try. Brooks is a great company that I would love to support!!

Very light. I removed the insole and it feels like the shoes slightly massaging my foot. I like them and wish they came in more colors.
