I've been searching for this type of shoes in the US since moving here in 2003. These styles became popular in Asia around 2001 to 2002 (so as faded skinny jeans) so I was surprised to find out that these shoes are nowhere to be found here around that time. Fast forward 10 years, I finally found a pair at Marshalls but they only had size 12.

I immediately went to Amazon and I found the pair with the perfect color. My only suggestion to anyone who is interested in buying these pair is to order half a size bigger than your feet. My left foot is slight bigger than my righ foot but it doesn't bother me that much.
