I was a bit uncertain about buying a shoe without trying it on first. Teva once again has come through with high quality workmanship. I have four pair of Teva sandals. This hiking shoe is every bit as comfortable for my arch and the ball of my foot. These have a nice amount of traction without causing me to trip on carpeting. I would buy them again and recommend them highly.

Have many Teva shoes and sandles and they are always comfortable right out of the box-until this pair. However, after a breaking in period, these are fairly comfortable shoes. I work in the garden a lot but have problems with foot and heel pain so need shoes with good support (why I like Teva). These have good arch/foot support, good traction, are waterproof. Only downside, they are a little loose in the ankle, as some other reviewers noted, but seem to hold foot in place well enough. Were tight at first but wearing thinner socks help and the shoes have loosened up a little. Thought they wouldn't work at first but like them now. I do not have foot/heel pain after wearing them. Just beware of problems noted in reviews to decide if these will work for your feet. -Mrs. Dave

I had a problem with keeping these on my feet when I got them. Then I figured out how to lace them to tighten up the heel and they fit much better. Very comfortable for long walks outside-great grip on the sole. If you search the internet for "How to prevent heel slippage in running shoes" you should find a video explaining how to lace them.

I ordered these for hiking because I wanted a cheap waterproof pair for when there is a little snow/water/mud on the ground. I knew they would be comfortable because teva is a very reputable brand. I was not expecting them to be so fashionable. I am very pleased with how they look. I could even wear these for casual wear. I've never had a pair of teva's before but I am amazed at how superb the construction is. These are very well-made and will last a long time. If you are looking for a very good quality waterproof hiking shoe that looks nice, well, this is the one. Look no further!

These shoes have really good arch support and a nice thick foot bed, making me feel like running instead of walking. I primarily use them for my daily dog walks and they keep my feet dry and warm enough. The only down side is that they run a little narrow around the front of the foot, I never wear a wide but would have considered it for these. They do seem to be stretching and easing up with use. I did purchase them 1/2 size larger because of other reviewers and would recommend that.
