It can be difficult to find quality nonleather shoes, but New Balance makes several styles. These are light as air and are comfortable. However, I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts on hard surfaces with much time spent on my feet, and will admit that by the end of the day my feet ache after wearing these. There is no arch support and the shoe does not hold the foot in place as my other New Balance shoes have (New Balance 811 is my favorite). I love the modern look of these shoes. They are a great shoe for the price, and would be a great shoe for people who don't spend long hours on their feet. But if comfort and support are your first priority, I recommend New Balance 811 walking shoes.

I bought these shoes about 9 months ago and loved them. Easy on and off weighing nearly nothing. Just a nice simple shoe.
That changed very quickly. The moment I stepped on any wet surface it was like being on ice without knowing how to skate. Scary because I do know how to skate. This happens on every surface and every amount of wetness. I wiped a spill off my floor two days ago, slipped, and fell hurting my knee. If you want a shoe that you can wear only if you know it will be dry then get these. If not don't! It took me 4 days to find a replacement shoe which I still don't know if it will work.

Showing my age here, but over 30 years ago, I loved the Puma "Country Girl" running shoes. The light feel and comfort of this shoe reminds me of the Pumas from that era. They are very durable. I wear them everyday, and over the past 2 years are only on my 2nd pair. A good shoe for the money.
