Good toe box room, seem well made. Size 50 length fit my size 14.5 feet well, but the shoe is narrow. My Nike spinning shoes seem wider and more forgiving than these.
Finding a size 50 online is hard enough let alone a 50W. Looks like I'm stuck having to get more expensive Sidi's. Too bade, these shoes are a great value.

I had originally ordered the Shimano Men's SH-M162 MTB shoes, but found them to be too narrow and ended up hurting my feet. I never thought I had a really wide foot, however... The SH-XC50N's ended up feeling better all around more comfortable (less awkward pressure points), more width at the front of your foot and softer cushion inside. The ratcheting strap works great, and I thought they looked much better as well. The SH-M162's appeared cheaper, in my opinion. Have been wearing them for over a month now, and I have no complaints. Still comfortable. Would definately buy again and recommend.Best Deals on Shimano SH-XC50N Mountain Bike Shoe For Men
The multiple straps make fitting my somewhat different sized feet very easy. I think I'm getting 10% more force into the pedals than I did with my older Shimano tie mountain bike shoes.Honest reviews on Shimano SH-XC50N Mountain Bike Shoe For Men
The shoe does what I expected it to, it does not blend well in a business casual environment so bring something else to wear if you are a commuter. The sole is plastic, so ice will be interesting this winter.
