Previously I used (and still use) XA Comp3. I ran and marched in them much above 1000km sometimes in wet and muddy conditions. They never fail I was able to march 100km _at_once_ in 26 hours having shoes completely wet.

New ones seems to be a bit less comfortable maybe after some time they become fit better but old ones were perfectly comfortable from first minute.

Bought this pair to replace a pair of Solomon XA5s. Love these shoes! They are great for running trails and light climbing on the rocks. My feet stay comfortable in them even on all day hikes.

So after pondering over all the reviews I realize now that I should have listened to them. Received the shoes yesterday and they look great. There are a lot of reviews stating that they are tight and Agree . Now I cannot send them back due to my location on Earth...I would get these at least 1/2 size larger if possible maybe the wide version as well. I am a bit concerned about the lacing system as well... Although very functional I am not looking forward to the day of a break as I do not see any information on replacements.

The product came on time and was in a good packaging. As a nurse I need a shoes that can run with me and give me excellent comfort. So far this shoes has stand up to the occasion. I am very happy with the purchase. It fits very well too. I purchase one for my husband and he is very happy with it too.

This review is from: Salomon Men's XA Comp 7 Trail Running Shoe usually running shoes are all neon red, yellow and green, I guess so you will not be hit by a car but I prefer to blend in. These are more sturdily constructed than the Kowloon, but still comfortable. I have high arches and these come with some sort of patented Salomon inserts. Not quite as good as my $300 Chiropractic inserts (for some reason, it is not possible to price high end inserts on the web check it out) but they keep me from those pesky sciatic issues I get without them. Yes Sir, I like them.
