I love asics. i have worn 2170's for many years, and recently got a pair of the Noosa tri-8 racing flats since i am trying to get back into running. I tend to be a heal-striker who is prone to shin-splints and although i do not have much of an arch i supinate. the Noosa's seem pretty good so long as i am careful about my form & not try to go to fast. However i am always looking for a better pair. I read such great reviews about the nimbus that i figured i would give them a try. Unfortunately these nimbus 12's did not work for me. I had horrible shin pain after a few minutes, and even my hip started aching.
as for sizing, i ordered 6.5 in kids and it fit perfectly (i am a women's size 8 in asics)

My son has a heel condition called Severs Disease. This show offers prime support for his heel, but can be a VERY expensive shoe. This was an older model of the shoe that we spent $90 in the store for. But older doesnt mean not as good. It's great! Absolutely no difference. These shoes wear well for a little boy that is rough and tough. He wears them to all of his athletics instead of cleats as well because of his heel condition. They are great. :)

Nice Shoe for comfort in the heel and arch. Love the shoe for shorter work days of 8 hours or less, but ball of foot and toes get tired and sore at 12-14 hour days. Love the color and style.

I just can not say how much I love my ASICS! They are an awesome running shoe. They are light weight, but are excellent quality.

These shoes are cut much lower in the ankle then another pair of GEL-Nimbus's that i have been wearing so they press into the inside of the ankle and cause a lot of pain. They are unable to be worn and i have sent them back for a refund.
