These shoes are very comfortable, I wear size fourteen but took a fifteen just in case. They were bigger but I dont regret since they are well suited for distance running. I felt no pain in my ankles since I am using them, my weight is approximately 220 pounds. The only disadvantage I have found is that they are not suited for rough terrain like grass or off route or even aerobics. The gel at the heel is strong but it is tending to tear gradually if you run of road with them. I paid alot so I am disappointed that they are not holding up with repect to off road running, but I still recommend them because of comfort.

Downgraded 1 star for value. They are overpriced. But...
I really like them, they are very comfortable. Best running shoes I've owned. I have had a few other ASICs and I like these the best. In general I like ASICS more than Nike, New Balance, etc.
If you buy them, I don't think you will be disappointed at all. I just think they are somewhat overpriced.

This shoe is great at distributing weight when walking. This shoe is great for me because I have foot problems. It is a little bulky though. I could see it not being great for some activities. I would recommend this shoe for anyone with achilles tendonitis or pronation problems.
