Yes, he plays with the velcro, but much less than in other shoes. He loves them and literally showed everyone in his daycare room his foot once he started with these. I was nervous that the sole would be too stiff but they are great. He's been in them since 14 months and I will most likely get them in other sizes. He walks with confidence. A great shoe for a first time mom.

This is a well made shoe. I really liked the quality of the shoe and how the shoe had one velcro strap to fasten.

This shoes looks so cute on my 1 yr old. Very comfortable,I can tell by the way she walks on them. It's easy to put on and looks like it's very durable too, well made. And i bought this on a discounted price so that's a bonus. I recommend this shoes :-)
