I love these shoes, they fit well and provide plenty of support. They come in a variety of colors and are not only functional but stylish. My only wish is that when Saucony created the next version... the Pro-Ride 5, that they didn't change the elevation.

I have alway been told I required motion control running shoes. After some searching and sound advice I was steered to this awesome shoes! I suffered from major IT bands issues and now that I have gone to this shoe this problem is all but gone. I highly recommend these shoes!

I bought a new pair of the ride 4 and it has been disappointing. the heel and outside edge of my whole shoe flattened out within the first weeks of having the shoe. The 3 was a great shoe for long distances and for neutral and mild protonators. I am a neutral toe runner and the prior version lasted for 4 marathons and training miles still. The new version has an uncomfortable upper and seems to have a more solid midfoot than front or heel.

This shoe was damaged. The cushion inside the left heel was sewn incorrectly. I could not wear the shoe. Had to send it back at my expense via UPS. Received refund in a few days. This faulty sewing job should have been caught by an inspector. It was REALLY obvious.

I replaced my Saucony Ride 3 (which have been fantastic for 650 miles) with the Ride 4 a few weeks ago. The two shoes look similar, but the construction of the Ride 4 was surprisingly weak. Specifically, the padding behind the heel sank down to the bottom of the shoe within the first few miles. As a result, my foot slid forward in the shoe and the heel slipped up & down. I am sending back the shoe for a replacement, but I may opt to go back to the Ride 3.
