With a pair of 40-something flat feet that were once tortured in dance shoes and have endured three surgeries, I have a hard time finding truly comfortable and supportive shoes. No more! These are the best ever lightweight hiking and walking shoes I've ever owned. Even better than my Asics Gel Foundation running shoes -and that is saying something. These have PERFECT alignment and arch support, very lightweight, nice lacing, and amazing traction. This is my first pair of Merrell's and I may never take them off. I'm a fan.

My husband wanted to order these shoes right right off the internet. After reading reviews I decided that I would go to a store and at least try a pair on. I am so glad that I did as I wear a size 8 1/2 in every shoe I have in my closet, however not these shoes. I needed a size 9. I tried several styles on and each one that was 8 1/2 was too small and too tight. The size 9 arrived this afternoon and they fit perfectly. I love the "pink elephant" color and expect these shoes to last a long time. One other note---these shoes don't seem to be discounted on many sites on the internet. However if you are in a state where there is high sales tax at least you can save the sales tax and many offer free shipping.My daughter has worn these shoes for a long time and she encouraged me to get a pair. PS: This review is from my wife and not me.

Shoes are perfect for hiking. I took other reviews advice and went up 1/2 size. I love the colors and would definitely buy another pair in the future.

I've had Merrells for years and have been super happy with the fit and cushy comfort when hiking and for use as travel shoes. This pair is really cute, but rather flimsy and thin. I would definitely NOT wear them to go hiking! I wore them for a walking 5K and about 1/2 way through the walk my feet were bothered by the flimsy foot cushion inside the shoe. Not enough cush... Also, there is a slight gap between the foot cushion and the shoe in the inside by the ball of my foot. After a few hours it rubs and becomes tender. The shoes are super cute though so I am keeping them. Going to get new insoles for them to see if that will remedy the discomfort.

I am a HUGE fan of Merrell shoes, and bought these on a friend's recommendation. They are so comfortable, and repell dirt easily; I know that's odd to say. I noticed it when I had walked around in my yard for a long time; when I went inside my house and started to wipe them on a mat, I noticed the soles did not have one bit of dirt on them. The rest of the shoe was still in great shape, also. I have other colors besides the olive, but would buy another pair of olive without hesitation. This shoe is worth every penny!!!
