After years of trying to find a good shoe for walking I am pleased to say this one is it! I have bought several pairs of Nike, Reebok, Asic, etc....none have been comfortable! The toe width is too narrow and the heel comes up too high on my ankles. Neither is a problem with Merrell's Bare Access Arc 2. I will definitely be buying more of these!

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have a bad back and arthritic knees and ankles. Even though I'm not a runner-the shoes were purchased to help my back and joints stay healthy. They do the trick!!!

I've worn Brooks shoes for years, for workouts and walking; but I wanted to try out a light-weight shoe. Not only is this Merrell shoe great for walking, but it gives exactly the kind of support I need for lunges and squats in weight class. These shoes are true to size, with a roomy toebox. The arch support is just right for relieving plantar fasciitis pain, as well. I like them so much, I ordered a pair for my husband. I will definitely buy another pair. Thank you, Merrell!

PS The green ones attract a lot of attention!

These shoes are fantastic. They are so comfortable and light---almost like slippers! But they have changed the way I walk which has considerably reduced the pain level in my lower back and hip. I've been raving about them and recommending them to everybody!

I have a hard time getting a shoe to fit comfortably. These Merrell Bare Access Arc 2 shoes feel wonderful, you forget they are even on. I have a narrow heel but am wide across the foot. Most shoes I have to get wide, but then the heel is too loose and rubs as I walk. These shoes fit comfortably. I found myself not having any foot pain even after working at a swim meet and the going hiking on some local trails all in one day.

These shoes may not work if you over pronate or supinate, but I find my gait improved. I am a person that walks much better barefoot than in shoes, these shoes are the next best thing to being barefoot. Many people have stated that the shoes run 1/2 size small, I bought size 10, Usually wear 9 1/2 to 10. My daughters friend usually wears 10 1/2 to 11 and tried on the shoes and said she thought she could wear that size. I guess it depends on how you like it to fit. It does have a lot of give across the foot. My daughter has a pair as well and loves them!
