I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. I am active, but have never ran in shoes with a minimum to no sole before. I suggest trying a pair on in person before ordering these online. I am a 9.5 and got a 41, but everybody is different. I was worried about the length of my toes being crunched in these like most toe socks, but its NOT the case. They help align your posture, almost train you to stand/walk/run the correct way. I tried running in a minimum sole shoe for a couple of weeks before I bought these, to help the transition and it helped, however I am sure no matter how experienced you are, it will STILL take a beating on your calf and feet muscles. Make sure you buy a pack of moleskin though, the inside of the shoe has some areas where it rubs (mine was in the heels of both shoes), but this should NOT be a deterrent to buy these shoes. They are AWESOME.

Those shooes are excellent for walking and hiking. Super comfortable to the point you'd rather not wear anything else. I didn't think they could (or should) be worn by a person with flat feet, but they work great. Because there is no heel, they aid with proper stretching of your calves during normal walking activities, which turned out a wonderful fringe benefit for an avid runner.

Pros:

1. Light weight (for wearing or packing)

2. Machine washable

3. Fast drying

4. Extremely comfortable

Cons:

1. Get smelly if worn in wet weather.\
