Tried several different brands of running shoes over the years(New Balance, Asics, Pearl Izumi, etc) and struck gold with the Asics Gel Nimbus 12's. As all good things do, then come to an end and Asics moved onto the 13's, which were very different for me and not a good fit. As the drawing board was filling up, I tried the M770's. They fit and run just like the Nimbus 12's and I am inclined to buy several pairs just to make sure that I have shoes for the next year. I am a bigger guy and these have great support. I would say a 4 1/2, but the review board only allows a 4 or 5. I have always liked New Balance but not a fan of their plain colored shoes. So this was a great buy for shoes and color.

These New Balance running shoes are perfect fitting, have great shock cushioning and were just what I was looking for. I say perfect fitting as one pair in the past were a bit small even though I ordered the same size. They run about a half size small. The only negative thing I can say about this pair is they were assembled in China, instead of the United States.

I walk ten miles three-to-four times a week. I could not do this unless I had a comfortable running/walking shoe. The New Balance Men's M770 is fantastic. It's like walking on air! The price is great, too. I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with these shoes. I have a hard time finding shoes in my size (11.5 4E) and it was easy to find them. The shoes are comfortable and stylish and the price is right.

I run 3 miles a day/ 5 days a week. I have wide feet and like running in extra wide running shoes that have superior cushioning and stability. I haven't wore NB shoes in a long time because all of the past ones felt like I was running on a piece of cardboard/ they didn't have any cushioning. I have been running in Nike and Asics since. Nike doesn't make a wide shoe that has good cushioning anymore and I wanted to try NB again after reading reviews on the cushioning. These M770 shoes are comfortable. They are light weight and are comparable to some of the Asics I have run in. They have better cushioning than the older NB shoes, however I am going to add a gel insert for a little more cushioning. I like to feel more of a rebound effect when I run, so I always look for a shoe with good cushioning. I like these shoes and would recommend them. Since I go through 2 pairs of shoes a year, I may look for another pair of NB shoes when these wear out.
