I ordered a 47 which is one size bigger than I normally wear and they fit fine. It's too early to judge on how well they hold up but the quality seems fine. Not as nice as my road shoes (Sidi) but for the price a pretty good value. They are not as stiff as I was hoping for (I can feel the pedal through the shoe) but that helps make them very comfortable to walk in.

I was worried when I first got this shoe. The buckle system seems wimpy for a MT bike shoe and I commute close to 200 days a year, so I wasn't sure it would be durable.

But I was wrong. This shoe has been great. I like PI's stuff. It's well made, holds up over time, looks good and feels even better. Shoe stiffness isn't something I worry about too much. I've use this shoe on my 20 mile commute and on 100 mile days. Either way, it never causes me any concern and it does it's job. I ride with SPD style cleats and there have never been an issue.

Stiff and excellent grip on flat pedals. I use studded Blackspire Sub3 pedals and am able to spin as fast as riders who are clipped in. Also, very comfortable.

These are my favorite MTB shoes. They fit true to size, are way comfortable, plenty stiff enough for riding but also great for walking. The rubber on the soles is grippy like 5Ten shoes or sneakers, not the usual hard plastic most MTB shoes have. They also have great heel cushioning. These will be great for trips to Moab where you have to walk slickrock sonce in a while.
