This is a good looking sturdy shoe. I ordered a wide size and they were

more narrow that a regular width and very curved along the outer edge,

encroaching on toes.

I would love to be able to wear this shoe. It fits wonderfully, was comfortable and is definately my color in suede and fabric. Unfortunately the tongue is mal formed. If your arches are normal to high it may not be a problem but the tongue curveswider on the sides and digs into my ankle bones. Tongue is thick and stiff so does not form to you ankle.

I ordered this shoe as it was advertised as I saw the wide size availability. It is NOT WIDE. The size I requested was 8 W (C/D).

The shoe was a bit short in length for a size 8, and was extremely narrow throughout the width. Do not buy if you require a WIDE!

I just purchased this shoe for the second time. My last pair lasted about four years. Yes, I said four years. I have a wide foot and also have pins and screws in the joint of my right foot and these shoes are the most comfortable I have ever had. I only wish Merrell would make more styles in wide widths. I wear this shoe for hiking, biking, fitness walking, and any other time I want to be comfortable. It is my go-to shoe.

This is the best support sport shoe I have have ever worn. I will continue to be interested in the Merrill product from now on.
