I got this pair for my daughter, she's a pole vaulter for her university. She tells me that the shoes added that extra bounce that she wasn't getting from her old spikes (for sprinters). I selected this pair for her after reading other buyers' reviews, most of them positive with some even stating that these are better the Nike TJ. My daughter confirms it, and she did set a new personal best. It's very difficult to find the right PV spikes in our country, thank God for online shopping!

Update: my daughter won her first gold medal this year during the 16th Unigames held in Roxas City, Philippines and set the new national junior record last October 27, 2011. Proper spikes make a big difference!!

I've used these shoes for all the jumping events and they work as i want them too and more. In detail, the compression spikes and the spike plate almost make you automatically run through the runway in a way you stand tall and bounce into a great transition to a jump. I can compare these to the Nike's TJ because I've felt the difference that these shoes are tremendously lighter. If you hit a wall for any jumping events with sprinting spikes, i suggest jumping spikes since they help ALOT in performance and so you don't injure yourself once you know you can hit the high marks.

These shoes are great for Pole Vaulting and Triple Jumping. They are so comfortable and light weight. I even use them for sprinting occasionally. If you are new or seasoned pole vaulter/triple jumper get these shoes!!!

They actually seem like really well pu together shoes. Nice Pole Vault, TJ combo! They do seem to run about .5 size small and I will need to return them. If they have .5 larger, I will exchange, as they are exactly what I want.
