I have narrow feet/high arches and have always struggled to find a good comfortable walking shoe. This is it and I can put them on without having to break them in before I take a long walk but I wear them as my daily standard. I do trade out the insoles for a hiking shoe insert but this is my 6th pair over 6-7 years. The outer shell stays really nice but the bottom soles do compress over time, about a year to 18 months of continual daily wear/heavy use including a routine of a 3.5 mile trail walk 5 days a week.

I really wanted to give this shoe 4 stars, these shoes look great. They are water resistant, slip resistant, and very well made. But they do not fit like the walking shoes that I bought by the same company. I have a high arch, and these shoes do not. I tried the "Mosaic" customization with only minor improvement. Now I have a used product that can not be returned. So I went to my local drug store and bought reg athletic shoe inserts, and presto!!! Much better fit. I just thought for the price I paid, that they should fit better right out of the box.

I am a certified couch potato. Ever since injuring my lower back in the early 90's I lost strength in my right ankle. Walking was necessary ... hiking was out of the question! I needed a shoe that was comfortable and would support my right foot ... this shoe was the perfect purchase! I am now off the couch and hiking and enjoying it!

I absolutely love these shoes. the first time I wore these shoes, I wore them for over 9 hours on my feet and by the 9th hour I could have still wore them another 9 hours. I can't believe they didn't hurt my feet at all. These shoes actually motivate me to walk because the feel sooooo good on my feet. I will never buy another brand of shoes. I even bought my mom a pair right after I had mine for a month and my mom loves hers; she works on her feet all day so they get used a lot.

I have had my Aetrex V753 shoes for 5 or 6 years, and they are the most comfortable, helpful shoes I have. But...

I have a wide foot with low arches. At the time I got the shoes, I was having back problems. Since then I've had hip replacement surgery, which also shortened 1/2" of that leg so both legs are even. My shoes are still the most comfortable, and I wear them nearly all the time. The shoes were comfortable before the operation and still comfortable now. However, durability leaves much to be desired. When they got dirty, they were thrown into the washer like my other sport shoes, and the Aetrex started to come apart: the front sole rubber tip came unglued. My little toes broke through the manmade leather on the lower outside of both shoes [this I have taped on the inside with duct tape]. I would like a better wearing style, whether a more modern version of this style or another style.
