I picked these shoes up somewhere else, but figured i would put the review up here to help people out. These are great shoes. Definitely my go-to shoes for just kicking back on the weekends. Very little arch support, and shoes are very low to the ground, but that is something i was looking for in these. They arent no-arch support-ey like vans or chucks which are totally flat-soled. They are more like parkour (sp) shoes in that they let you get a great feel for the ground when you wear them. I have had no problems after wearing them all day. Apparently this model used to be running shoes, so they must be doing something right. I got green & white and they look great too. came with 2 sets of laces green / white. i chose white since they look a little more understated. Pick them up. You wont be sorry. They run true to size, by the way.

These shoes are absolutely fantastic. I chose the burgundy/red shoes not just because I like the color, but they also had all cloth and no leather. Some of them have leather around the mouth of the shoe touching your ankle and I didn't want that. I use these shoes only to practice Parkour, and that's why I bought theses in the first place. Great light weight shoe, and the bottoms of the shoes are awesome for grip and don't wear very easily. With that being said, the rest of the shoe seems to be built to last also. I'll probably buy another pair of these shoes, even though they might be a little expensive for what I'm using them for. If you're looking for a similar shoe like this, maybe for athletic wear like me, I would definitely get these shoes. Good buy.

The item I will be reviewing is a shoe called "Onitsuka Tigers Ultimate 81." These shoes were meant for the general consumer, but, can be used to its full potential from an athletic consumer. I believe these can be used by all consumers whether they are young or old or athletic or not. I own about three different pairs of "Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81s" so I know about all the positives this shoe has to offer and all the negatives of this shoe. Onitsukas have been my most preferred shoe ever since sophomore year of high school which proves my credibility on this certain shoe.

First, I will start with the bad news, although, there is barely any negative comment to say about the onitsukas. One of the main reasons people, or consumers, may be hesitant about buying this product is because of the price. In a regular store the price range for this brand name: "Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81" is around sixty five through seventy five dollars. The price may be a bit high for some people, but, there is a very good reason for the price to be that high. For athletes, a negative may be that there is no ankle support because it is a low cut shoe. But, this problem can be easily fixed because there are other onitsukas out there that have amazing ankle support. One problem that I had with one of the three pairs that I own is that one of the shoelaces snapped. The reason why the lace snapped was because I tied the shoelace all the way to the top hole and I was also dancing. Basically, I learned to not lace the shoes all the way to the top and that the second highest lace hole will suffice. The problems I have stated are very minor problems that can be easily prevented with the exception of the price.

Now for the good news, onitsukas are best known for how comfortable and light they are. Because of the amazing quality of these shoes the price is a little high compared to other brands. When these shoes first came out they were meant to be running shoes. I am a breakdancer and I definitely recommend onitsukas because they are super flexible, comfortable, and as light as a feather. One minor cool detail about these shoes is that they allow your feet to breathe. These shoes do not wear out easily even after rigorous activity. The first pair of onitsukas I own are still in pretty good condition considering all the activities I used them for. The positives of onitsuka shoes definitely outweigh the negatives. Onitsuka Tigers are my preferred shoes and I don't think I will be straying away from these shoes any time soon.

Good old Onitsukas. Versatile shoe for urban and rural environments. Especially suited for ninjas. Arch support is amazing. Material breathes well. Cushioned soles still leave feeling and tactile connectivity to terrain. Tread design great for all purposes.

DURABLE, AWESOME, FANTASTIC. they're EXTREMELY DURABLE. I work in a warehouse, do parkour, tricking and run around alot. The first shoes to withstand my abuse. Very good shoes. I love them so. Everyone needs to buy a pair. Only thing to mention. They do have an arch, so if your flat footed like me, itll take some time to get used to them or wear them down to flat. 5/5!
