Given that the product name is "Total Support Quartet Thong", and based on other reviews of Spenco sandals, I had high hopes for this sandal. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and need shoes that support my high arches and provide plenty of cushioning for my feet (particularly my heels). Unfortunately, these sandals are not the best for me. They do provide more cushioning and support than your average flip flop, but the arch support was still too low for my foot and the soles too firm. I will wear them occasionally around the house (that is what I bought them for), but for regular wear I will stick with Fitflops which offer me much more pain relief.

What I noticed right away was that the sole of this flip flop came up to meet my foot. What a great improvement over all my other summer sandals. I wear them inside and outside and just whenever I need to be up walking around. My knees, calves, and feet all feel soo much better with the arch support. Think I'll be ordering another pair next summer.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter, who has fallen arches and is supposed to wear orthotic arch supports with her shoes. Like any teenage girl, she wanted to wear flip-flops in the summer time. I ordered these because it would drive me crazy when I saw her wearing those cheap $5 rubber ones with no support and her ankles would turn in. I had bought a pair of Spenco flip flops for myself at my chiropractors office and found a pair for her on Amazon in pink. I wasn't sure she would wear orthotic flip flops, but she liked them. She said they were really comfortable. The only drawback was the cork sole and material on the straps got dirty quickly and aren't easy to clean. So they look kind of dingy now.

I have had plantar facitis off and on for years, these are so incredible, the support and the comfort!!!!!!

I bought 4 pair in case they are discontinued!!!!!!!!!!! Just wish they offered more color choice. I also bought the Spenco

flip flop that had bands across foot (not in between toe), They are not near as comfortable.
