Purchased these shoes about 3 weeks ago and I loved the look of them! But.... my first indication that they were poorly made was that the rubber around the toe bed seems to be patched on, It is not one smoothly cut, single piece of rubber. As I wore them, right shoe began to squeak. I personally find it to be annoying. Additionally the shoe doesn't seem to have the cushioning or support that you would find in a higher quality shoe, such as Saucony. I think they are good to wear around walking, or for an easy hike, but they are not my go-to running shoe, and I doubt I would purchase from this company again. As for sizing, I am an 8.5/9, and I purchased the 8.5.... I do think they run a bit small.

Not only do I love the colors, I love how well they work on the trail. This is my second pair! Not too heavy for the days I run. Also my feet tend to roll easily but not in these shoes.

This is my third pair of Pearl iZUMi's and I love them all!

I wear a 7-7.5 and take a 7 in this shoe consistently.

They provide excellent support in a low profile shoe. I love the colors and styling.

In the past, I have liked Ryka and New Balance shoes for my feet but not Reebok or Asics for comparison.

I love P iZumi shoes. I have bought seven pairs in the last few years and will continue to do so. I have horrible problems with my feet and find it difficult to have shoes that don't hurt my feet. P iZ is one of the few that works well for me. I have Plantar Fasciitis and Tarsal tunnel, and I live in my exercise shoes, so they get a lot of wear. This pair took a while to break in and feel comfortable. Usually, P iZ are great from the start. Even though it took a few weeks for these to be really comfortable they are still better than most other brands I have tried. (The store clerks hate to see me in the store. I tend to have to try 10-15 pairs or more before I find one that will work...) There is plenty of room in the toe box and good support and stabilization. I will continue to be loyal to Pearl iZumi shoes!
