As soon as the shoes arrived, I slipped them right on and headed for the treadmill...6 miles later, my feet were still happy so I headed out for a 2 mile walk with the dog....Feet are still happy.... I had hammer toe corrective surgery and suffice it to say my other running shoes don't seem to "work" as well for me..But these new Columbia shoes fit like a glove and offer added comfort due to the stretchy material. Doesn't have a lot of fancy stitching and that helps a lot too..Try them; you'll be glad you did!
