I took these out for some light hiking on both paved and dirt trails this past weekend and had a few observations:
The sole is great for absorbing shock but since it has such big gaps in it, rocks tend to collect in those spaces and must be removed periodically.
After a two-hour hike, my little toes on both feet were in moderate pain as the toe box on these shoes is fairly narrow and there was a lot of rubbing even with medium thickness socks.
Overall, I do like these and will take them out on my next hike or trail run; I will update if there is anything significant to report. Most comfortable athletic shoe available. I like this trail version better than the standard because it doesn't have the mesh.
