Fila-Skele-Toes are not the type of shoes that you put on and they are perfect. They take a little getting accustomed to wearing them. But, once you do they are comfy. I bought them because I've developed a hammer toe and I'm trying to correct my toe. It's too early to determine if they will correct them,but, maybe I'll give another review on that. But, it does make my toe feel better. I would recommend them to a friend.

I just started getting into races and after doing a 5k then a 10k the next weekend, my feet were hurting. I've heard a lot of great things about shoes like this and "minimalist" running so I thought I'd give it a try. I just got them today and have already jogged over 2 miles in them!

I chose these because they were a) cute, b) inexpensive, c) had reviews I felt I could trust.

I read that they fit kinda big and I usually wear an 8.5-9 so I trusted the reviews and ordered an 8. They fit perfectly! Also, my second toe is longer than my big toe and that is not a problem with these shoes. The pinky & ring(?) toes go together so you don't have an awkward fit for the two. It actually gives a lot of freedom to have the two together.

I didn't want them to stink, so I also ordered a 6-pack of "RSG Hosiery Men's & Women's Toe Socks 6-Pack." Not sure yet how I feel about them, but they did the job and were thin enough to fit well with these shoes.

So I got the shoes & tried them on immediately. It took a little work to get them on because you have to guide your foot just right to get your toes in properly and the opening doesn't open very far. As another reviewer mentioned, there isn't a tab on the heel to help pull the shoe on, which is somewhat bothersome. However, I didn't find any of these factors to be a big enough nuisance to make me not want to wear them.

They are extremely comfortable and very supportive. It's like being barefoot, but with a big winter glove on your foot. Movement is slightly restricted since they are a bit thick and they have a solid sole, but there's still plenty of movement. While they don't actually lace, they have elastic laces that can tighten up pretty well.

I would definitely recommend these, especially if you are new to toe shoes like I am. They are extremely comfortable and natural feeling. I can see myself wearing these shoes as often as possible, especially because I like being barefoot at home (and recently broke my toe & had to get 6 stitches in it because I was barefoot & dropped a huge piece of broken glass on my toe). The price is great and I will most definitely be ordering more!

They are amazing .....felt funny at the beginning but got used to them....I can't say enough but they have helped me alot....feet still hurt somewhat but i am on my feet almost 8hours n walkinng on concrete....so also would love a recommendation as to which pair Is the best to wear.

Comfortable and great for walking track! Feels as though you are walking barefoot; however not as soft as another pair that I purchased from Kohls.

I really like wearing toe socks so these shoes are very comfortable to me. You might want to go a half size up when ordering because so fitted.
