I purchased the Vibram FiveFingers Lontras to use for my daily run. I have been running in them for just over a month and I have been very pleased. They are very comfortable. Part of my running path is on gravel and they provide both stability and comfort.

I am a user o vibram since two years ago and have my second pair, different model. The current model is kind of bulky and fits loose on my feet.

Buy these choice If you are looking for really outdoors AND cold weather alternatives. The insulation and water proofing look good and the feet keep really warm (too much for me).

Try them up first in a shoe store before buying to be sure this is what are you looking for.
