The Flex Hayden Sneaker is our second pair of sneakers for our son by Pediped (we've also had the grip and go styles). The quality of these shoes is uncomparable to other brands that may be a few dollars cheaper. They are stylish and I love that they don't have any gimicky characters, noises, or lights! Just a super shoe. The Flex shoes by Pediped come with a thin insert to place under the original insert allowing your child's foot to grow without outgrowing these fabulous shoes! We also love that they are washable. The materials on the shoe do not wear quickly so they stay looking nice longer than other brands we have tried that weren't half as cute! This particular style seems to run a bit wider all around than the previous style we had, Flex Adrian (although I would not say they would accomodate a true wide foot... you will have to test for yourself). The velcro strap is easy on and off for both me and my husband to get on our wiggly toddler. As soon as my son put these shoes on he was running around the house stomping his feet with joy! Can't say enough about this brand. Definitely worth the price if you're looking for a long lasting, quality, stylish sneaker for your little guy. We'll be hanging on to all of our Pediped shoes as hand me downs for our second son for sure. Don't waste your time shopping store to store around town... you'll love these shoes.

I am amazed at the quality of the particular pediped shoes I received and think I perhaps received a quality reject. I have bought many pediped shoes over the years and have always appreciated their quality. But this particular item was very poor quality. First, it's color washed off so when the shoes were cleaned, the blue ran all over the white and the shoes looked really bad. Second, the front part of both shoes were clearly very thin and they have torn with just a few months of ordinary wear by a toddler.
This is so surprising. I am very upset about the way this shoe has fallen apart and believe that I was sold a pair that was not acceptable in quality (a reject).

Easy for my son to put on himself, well made, and extra insole makes them half size smaller to start then you take it out as they grow and get twice the wear from one pair of shoes!

very nice and flexible, comfortable shoe but after 1 week they needed to be washed, and that was the main reason I was attracted to this shoe, machine washable. they faded and at 1 week old they looked older and worn because the colors were dull. I was thinking of sending them back but never got around to it, now just play shoes for the yard! after 1 week!

My son wears a size 6. I ordered these in 6/6.5 and had to exchange them. They just fit so they wouldn't be fitting for long. They are very nice looking so I hope the next size up works.
