Nicely designed and made shoe. Would have been a perfect walking shoe but because of the orgo shape to the front of the shoe, I had to return it.

The curve in the front hit my 4 toe (which never happens) so I had to return it.

I am (or was) a huge Merrell fan. I have Merrell hiking boots, tennies, sandals and thongs. I've always been impressed with their sizing and workmanship. This summer (2013),I ordered the Lorelei Emme, along with a Merrell sandal and a thong and sadly ended up returning all 3! In regard to these Mary Jane's, the footbed still has the same good old Merrell fit, but the upper materials look and feel cheap compared to my 2011 Mary Janes. Most importantly none of the stitching inside the shoe was finished off so even without walking it felt scratchy and uncomfortable. If it was just this pair of Mary Janes that didn't work out, I would have thought it was a fluke, but I have similar complaints about the other 2 pairs of Merrell's I purchased. I'm so disappointed!

This is the 2nd pair for myself. They work well year round even though they are made of a mesh material. I just wear

socks with them in the winter. I usually wear a size 9 and had to get a 9.5 to fit properly. However, they are very comfortable for every day wear.

kind of a disappointment tried them on in a store and loved them but wore them once and got terrible blisters on my ankles kind of harsh on my feet. I had really high expectations and was let down.
